The Artist
During the day Nathan Vincent works full time as associate director for a market research company. At night he comes home and sits crouched obsessively over his hook and yarn.

Nathan grew up all over the Midwest and has finally settled in New York for the time being. The son of a preacher man, he learned to crochet granny squares when he was ten. Little did his mother know that teaching him to make afghans would have such a profound effect on his artwork later on in life. He studied drawing and painting at Purchase College, State University of New York, but has found that fiber art is tons more fun.

Since graduating, he has been a part of a group show in Virginia, a two man show in Brooklyn, NY, a fiber arts show which originated in Florida traveled all over the country for a year, and had his first solo show in Virginia in April 2008. Nathan has been written up all over the internet, was highlighted in the gallery section of a crochet book (and will be in another book being released this year), received an acquisition prize from the West Collection in 2009, has shown his work on Martha Stewart, and has work in several private collections.
